In the early 1970s, Spain's first toll highway, the AP-7 , opened, connecting Barcelona to the French border in just two hours. It was frequently used on weekends by people traveling to Perpignan to see films censored during the Franco regime in Spain, such as "Last Tango in Paris," "Emmanuelle," and "The Decameron."
AP7 recounts, through 3 erotic Spanish short films of the time, the gender roles marked by the Iberian macho and the ridiculed role of women, which remained even after the death of the dictator during the cinema known as the "Destape", until 1984, coinciding with the premiere in Spain, and 4 years late, of "The Empire of the Senses".
